BLACK GIRLS RULE – Muhsinah

So I figured I should extend the TRACE Magazine Black Girls Rule manta and feature artist each week that have to deal with the empowerment of a woman of my color. Not to be bias but we do rule and alot of people try to make us fall.

Being featured in the recent Black Girls Rule issue was just a taste of what this starlet has to offer. Her voice is reminiscent of a Erkyah Badu x Lauryn Hill mixture with her Muhsinah’s special Hip-Hop texture.
